New Flame stands as a testament to the transformative power of faith, love, and community. Together, we can ignite a new flame of hope and salvation across the globe.

New Flame is dedicated to preaching the gospel and sharing the love of Jesus Christ with people across Azerbaijan, Turkey, Iran, Central Asia, and Europe. We strive to be a beacon of hope and support for persecuted Christians, providing them with the necessary tools and care to flourish in their faith.

Our Goals

Support for Persecuted Christians: We offer unwavering support to those facing persecution for their beliefs, ensuring they are not alone in their struggles.
Training and Pastoral Care: Our comprehensive programs equip individuals with the theological and practical knowledge needed to lead and nurture their communities.
Church Planting: We are committed to the growth and establishment of new churches, fostering environments where faith can thrive.
Awareness and Support Network: By linking up Christian groups from the UK and other parts of Europe, we create a robust network that raises awareness and provides steadfast support for our mission.

Azerbaijan is a secular country with a predominantly Muslim population, where the majority of the people adhere to Shia Islam. The country’s constitution ensures freedom of religion, including Christianity are practiced by smaller communities. Despite the secular government’s commitment to religious freedom, the role of Islam remains deeply embedded in the cultural and social fabric of Azerbaijan.

Turkey is a Muslim country, with Islam playing a central role in the lives of its citizens. Approximately 99% of the population adheres to Islam, with the vast majority being Sunni Muslims. Despite the overwhelming Muslim majority, Turkey is home to diverse religious groups. In recent years, Turkey has faced challenges regarding religious freedom and the role of religion in public life.

Iran has a population where almost half of Iranians are Turkic speaking. Predominately, a Muslim country, Christians have to live out their faith undercover and experience severe perscution.

Central Asia includes five different countries where Islam is the predominant faith. It varies how open each country is to Christianity, but social exclusion and persecution reguarly occurs.

We are in need of lots of support! Firstly your prayers for our work is vital. God is certainly moving and opening doors into communities that we never expected to be able to reach. Practically we do need financial support in order for us to expand out from the UK to create a Christian hub in Azerbaijan. This will act as a base to serve surrounding countries from, to be able to run Biblical training courses and support the growing Christian community within the country. We also need to be able to travel across the regions to build and support this network by planting churches.

Currently we have been blessed by the use of a room on Sundays to be able to run a service in the centre of Azerbaijan’s capitol, but we are constantly asked to provide more group gatherings and teaching but haven’t the finances to rent further spaces yet.
